High School General
Reminders for seniors:
Graduation practice will be Friday at 10:00 in the gymnasium.
Tonight at 7:00 p.m. is Baccalaureate. Wear graduation robes for this, but
not caps.
Awards night is Thursday at 7:00 pm. Please dress appropriately.
All seniors need to meet in Mrs. Friesenborg's room at 1:00 on Sunday for
pictures, pinning of flowers and last minute instructions.
You can pick up reserved seating tickets and check-out forms from Vicki. Check out forms must be completed and turned in to Mr. Evans before participating in graduation ceremonies.
Speech students who received medals or certificates of recognition at the Forest City speech contest should bring them to Mrs. DeBoer by Thursday so you can be recognized for your accomplishment.
All speech materials should be returned a.s.a.p.
All students who participated in contest this season should meet with Mrs. DeBoer today during first seminar.
Today will be the last day to use the ovens or microwaves in the home ec. room. They will be cleaned tonight and tomorrow. The refrigerator can be used until Friday. All appliances are returned next week. --Mrs. Friesenborg
A Larry Eustachy basketball camp will be held at the Forest City YMCA on June 12 and 13th. Interested girls and boys ages 7 through 17 should check the bulletin board in the front lobby of the high school for more information. There are brochures for you to take home there also.
ATTENTION ATHLETES FOR 2002-2003 SCHOOL YEAR--
There are free school sports physicals offered to students in grades 6 through 12 at Health Reach in Albert Lea, MN. These free physicals will be given on Thursday, May 23rd from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. only. This meets requirements for Minnesota and Iowa athletes. Physical forms may be obtained from the middle school or high school offices. Fill out health forms and have your parent sign before the physical. Call Health Reach at 507-377-5900 to set up appointment.
The point totals for the 2001-2002 school year will be posted by the auditorium door today. Awards Night is 7:00 Thurs. Congratulations to all the students on a
great year. It will be a special night honoring a wonderful student body.
Anyone interested in Lifeguard Training please sign up in the gym lobby. There is a sign up sheet by the Bison logo. You must be 15 to take the class. It is taught by Kim Ostermann at the Buffalo Center Swimming Pool, and will begin soon after Memorial Day. Contact Kim with any questions.
