High School General
Girls golf team will leave at 8:15 Monday a.m. You must wear a shirt with a collar, not just a t-shirt.
Just a reminder, the Lift-A-Thon is coming up. Don't forget to get your pledges or donations. The contest will be held on Wednesday, May 29th at 10 AM in the weight room. Also on that day, the staff from the Mercy Sports Clinic will be here to conduct athletic testing. Any athlete who wants to participate is welcome. There will be tests for vertical leap, 0-10 meter acceleration, agility, and upper body power. From this information, recommendations about workouts will be made.
There will be a Senior Class meeting with Mr. Evans during seminar on Monday. We will be discussing graduation practice and check out procedures.
STUDENTS: There is a t-shirt contest. Its for Bison Blast. Blast stands for Building, Local, Assets, Success, Team. The shirt must have Bison Blast on the front. See the bulletin board in the lunchroom for more information. The contest ends at 3:20 p.m., Monday, May 13th. The winner will receive Twins tickets.
A reminder to all National Honor Society Students - our "clean the ditches" activity will be on Monday, May 13th. We'll meet at 3:45 in the gym lobby and go from there. It'll take less than an hour if everybody shows up and pitches in!
ATTENTION ATHLETES FOR 2002-2003 SCHOOL YEAR--
There are free school sports physicals offered to students in grades 6 through 12 at Health Reach in Albert Lea, MN. These free physicals will be given on Thurs., May 23rd from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. only. This meets requirements for Minnesota and Iowa athletes. Physical forms may be obtained from the middle school office or high school offices. Fill out health forms and have your parent sign before the physical. Call Health Reach at 507-377-5900 to set up appointment.
There will be a Larry Eustachy basketball camp at the Forest City YMCA on June 12 and 13th. Interested girls and boys ages 7 through 17 should check the bulletin board in the front lobby of the high school for more information. There are brochures for you to take home there also.
