DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS
5/7/02

High School General
There will be a number of substitute teachers in our building the next few days, and it is important to remember that they are our guests here to assist us and should be treated as such. We have a reputation, as as school, for being a place that substitute teachers like to come and work because of the way the students conduct themselves, and the support they receive from the faculty. Please work to assist these valuable guests.

Seniors--Stop by the office and let Vicki know how many roses you will need for Ceremony of the Rose for graduation. These roses will be given to your parent(s) at graduation. Please let me know a.s.a.p. Thanks.

Just a reminder, the Lift-A-Thon is coming up. Don't forget to get your pledges or donations. The contest will be held on Wednesday, May 29th, at 10 AM in the weight room. Also on that day, the staff from the Mercy Sports Clinic will be here to conduct athletic testing. Any athlete who wants to participate is welcome. There will be tests for vertical leap, 0-10 meter acceleration, agility, and upper body power. From this information, recommendations about workouts will be made.

Those students planning to take college credit course next fall should come to a meeting on Thursday in the auditorium during 1st seminar.

Juniors will be at NIACC on Wednesday for College and Career Fair. We will leave at 7:30 and pick up in Thompson at 7:45. Please remember your booklets and a writing utensil. We will return for fourth hour.
