DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

High School General
Yesterday, a necessary piece of computer network equipment was discovered missing from the media center. The computers in the media center are not operational until this piece of equipment is returned or discovered and reinstalled. Unfortunately, this will include the laptops. With reduced budgets, we will not be able to replace missing or stolen equipment. It is, at this point it is believed to be stolen based on the information we have. That is terribly disappointing. This school prides itself on the character of its student body. We have very little incidence of theft, vandalism or other problems that are typical in other schools. Theft is something that is not tolerated in any form and should not be accepted by other students. If it is discovered through investigation who is responsible for the missing equipment, that person(s) will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. If the piece of equipment is return or "turns up", the issue will be dropped. It is understood that the loss of the computers in the media center will inconvenience many people, but there is little choice in the matter.
