Juniors - sign up to help with decorating on bulletin board by Mrs. Friesenborg's room. All juniors should sign up to help at least twice, even if you are not going to prom. We need everybody to help. Thanks.

Student Council Scholarship Applications are available to seniors that held a student council or class officer position during their high school career. Deadline is
May 6th.
The American Legion and VFW Scholarship Applications will be handed out in Government class tomorrow. Deadline to be returned to Mr. Huntington is May 6th.
Remember the Natural Resources field trip tomorrow morning leaves at 8:15.
FFA award applications need to be picked up from Mr. Gerzema and turned in tomorrow.
To all National Honor Society Students - you are to pick up your make-up slips from the office and get those signed and turned in as soon as possible. We are scheduled to depart at 8 AM on Wednesday, April 24th and to return before 6 PM
that evening.
We still need a few more workers for the Bison Relays April 23. We especially need more people to collect money for admission. You would need to start selling at 4:00 and would be able to leave at approximately 5:45. Please sign up in Rena and Vicki's office. Thanks.
There is a Hunter Safety class scheduled at the Thompson Middle School on Saturdays April 27 and May 11 from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Students must attend both days. There is no fee for this course. If you are interested Call Mr. Huntington at 584-2873 in the evening. Class size is limited.
On Friday, April 26th, the Thompson Fire and Rescue in conjunction with the
Iowa State Highway Patrol, Mercy AirLife, Winnebago County Sheriffs
Department, Buffalo Center Police Department and the Buffalo Center Fire
Department, will perform a mock auto accident for the students in grades
9-12. Rescue techniques and procedures will be demonstrated, as well as,
presentations on costs that can be incurred and driver safety will be given.
The presentation will begin at 9:00a, at the football field area. The
public is invited to attend. Due to the nature of this program, parents may
request that their son/daughter not participate by contacting Mr. Evans.
Students that do not participate will report to the High School Media Center
when the student body dismisses to the demonstration.
Reminder to students: appointments for hair styling, tanning, shopping and other personal business that should be handled outside of the school day are not considered excused absences. Make plans for these activities outside the school day.
Faculty
The National Honor Society will be taking its annual trip on Wednesday, April 24th. Over the next few day the students involved are expected to come to you with their make-up slips. All work is to be turned in ahead of time. Thank you.
