High School General
Congratulations to Jolene and Garrett our 2002 Sweetheart and King. They have a picture at 11:30 in Mrs. Friesenborgs room. Nick and Jessa also need to come to the picture.
To any girl interested in participating in track and field this year - there will be a brief informational meeting on Monday at 11:45 in the auditorium. Please bring a pen or pencil. If you cannot make this meeting please contact Mr. Potter. Thank you.
There are 3 notebooks in the media center for over night checkout. These have Microsoft Word and Excel on them and will work well to put together projects.
This is also a CDRW in the media center to backup and transfer large projects.
Blank CDs can be purchased from the circulation desk or you can bring in your own. As with all technology please remember to follow the technology code of conduct.
There will be a meeting right after school on today for ALL tech crew/makeup crew for the musical in the auditorium. This will be a 5-10 minute meeting.
SENIORS--Graduation announcements will be distributed over the noon hour Thursday.
The Pappjohn Entrepreneurial Center at NIACC is sponsoring a summer camp about entrepreneurial careers. 20 spots are available for this experience.
Applications are available from Mr. Huntington or Mrs. Kettwick. You must be a Junior and the camp runs from June 16-20th. It does not cost you a penny if
selected to this camp. If selected and you complete the camp and then choose to attend NIACC you get a $500 scholarship. If you go into the entrepreneurial career
classes you can receive another $500.
The Representative from Minnesota West Community and Technical College will be here on Thursday at 11:15. MW offers instate tuition and she usually brings long pencils.
Freshman band members, please be at school by 7:50 on Tuesday to help set up the stage.
Plan on attending the High School Pep Band Fundraiser concert this Tuesday night at 7:00 in the High School auditorium. Area adults will be performing again this year. Admission is $3.00 for Adults and $2.00 for students.
Congratulations to the speech students that kept their commitment to perform on Saturday! A special congrats to the 14 entries with division I ratings. They will perform at State on March 16th at Sumner.
Speech students that were unable to perform on Saturday need to pay $8.00 to Barb in the office. Those entries should be paid by Wednesday.
