Schedule for today: Periods 1 & 2--normal times; drop seminar;period 3--11:19-12:55; period 4--1:00-2:05; 1st lunch--P.E./Study Center; English 10; English 12; Ind. Tech.; Physics, Comp. App 2; Horticulture; Algebra I; 2nd lunch--Spanish 4; Cloth./Textiles; Am. History, Wld. History, Speech, Int. Math.
There are 3 notebooks in the media center for over night checkout. These have Microsoft Word and Excel on them and will work well to put together projects.
This is also a CDRW in the media center to backup and transfer large projects.
Blank CDs can be purchased from the circulation desk or you can bring in your own. As with all technology please remember to follow the technology code of conduct.
There will be a meeting right after school on Monday Feb. 25th for ALL tech crew/makeup crew for the musical in the auditorium. This will be a 5-10min meeting.
The speech bus to Crystal Lake will leave from the Buffalo Center building at 6:40 a.m. Meet at the east side of the building. Anyone signed up who is going should contact Mrs. DeBoer today with the money for their entry fees!
To any girl interested in participating in track and field this year - there will be a brief informational meeting on Monday at 11:45 in the auditorium. Please bring a pen or pencil. If you cannot make this meeting please contact Mr. Potter. Thank you.
Graduation announcements will be distributed over the noon hour on Thursday, Feb. 28th. The following seniors stop by the office today--Angela B., Lucas E., Mark E., Dana H., Tom K., Stefan R., Chantel R., Tom Suda.
The Pappjohn Entrepreneurial Center at NIACC is sponsoring a summer camp about entrepreneurial careers. 20 spots are available for this experience. Applications are available from Mr. Huntington or Mrs. Kettwick. You must be a Junior and the camp runs from June 16-20th. It does not cost you a penny if selected to this camp. If selected and you complete the camp and then choose to attend NIACC you get a $500 scholarship. If you go into the entreprneurial career classes you can receive another $500.
