FFA members stop in before 3rd period to vote for the king and sweetheart candiates for the Valentine dance.
FFA Concession workers tonight are: Jeremy Brue, Micah Johnson, Brandon Wiedemeier, Brad Matson arrive at 6:00.
Mark your calendars for Saturday night, February 9th. The Valentines dance will start at 8:30 and will spotlight the Valentine king and queen crowning, a lip-sinc contest with prizes to the best group and a great time.
All juniors--There will be a junior class meeting in the auditorium Monday during seminar concerning prom. We will be revoting for our song and deciding for sure what our theme, or decorating idea will be. Please try to attend!!
Seniors who ordered jewelry from Herff Jones may pick it up in the office.
The readers theater group will meet right after school on today in the auditorium.
Special Olympics basketball skills competition will be held Saturday at Forest City High School at 9:30--parade of athletes and 10:00--competition.
Students going to State Speech Contest tomorrow should meet at the east side of the school by 6:30 a.m. We will stop at the Farm Bureau Building in Thompson at 6:45 a.m. If you intend to ride with your parents or are on the TV News team and are not going to contest, contact Mrs. DeBoer so your name can be taken off the chaperone's list. Sue Bosma will be our chaperone for the day.
Any student interested in participating in the Individual Speech Contest on February 23 should sign up outside of Mrs. DeBoer's door by Monday. This is the last opportunity to compete this year.
