High School General
"Attention all seniors--Please turn in your senior pictures to either Kelly Anderson or Amanda Smith by this FRIDAY (tomorrow). You need two different poses for the yearbook, plus 4 other senior pictures of your choice to distribute to the area newspapers. (THE ONES FOR THE NEWSPAPER NEED TO BE CLOSE-UP HEADHSOTS AND VERTICAL ONES.) Needed a total of six in all. Also, we need one baby picture--those will be returned to you. Write it down so you don't forget."
Juniors--Meet with Mr. Evans during first seminar today in the auditorium. Bring a pencil and paper with you.
On Thursday, January 17th all Juniors will be taking the ASVAB test in the Media Center beginning at 8:25 and running until 11:20.
"The Crucible" group will meet again Friday morning at 7:30 sharp in the auditorium. Breakfast will be provided by latecomers!!!
The T.V. News team members with speaking parts should meet with Mrs.DeBoer Friday afternoon immediately after school.
The T.V News team will be filming on Tuesday at the AEA. Students involved in T.V. News should contact teachers to get assignments made up in advance. We will leave Buffalo Center at 7:30 AM and will stop in Thompson at the Farm
Bureau office as well.
There will be Choral Reading practice Monday night at 8:15 in the auditorium. Students should enter through the south doors.
Students going to the AEA on Monday (tech crew) should room meet in Mrs. DeBoer's room at 11:20 today for a very brief meeting!
There will be no read through for the play participants during seminar today.
Softball girls should meet in the auditorium today at 12:00.
Students that certified for CPR may pay Mrs. Aukes $6.00 for the cost of your CPR cards. Cards will be distributed when everyone has paid. Thank you. --Mrs. Aukes
On the following Monday's the JV boys basketball team will play before the 9th grade team. Jan. 14, Jan. 28, and Feb. 4.
When we play West Hancock on Mon. Jan. 21 all games (girls and boys) will be played at Britt. One girls game first with 9th grade boys next and JV boys to
follow, the start time will be approx. 6:00. On Thurs. Feb.7 this same schedule will be kept when West Hancock comes to Buffalo Center.
Electricity class students will eat first lunch and will be missing second session seminar today. Those involved: Nick Price, Jon Gerzema, Shawn Heitland, Darrick Coy, Tyler Schmidt, Lora Kelly, Jeremy Koehn, Scott Tesdahl, Garrett Hovland, Drew Kettwick, Matt Gray, Brad Matson, Nate Wubben, Trenton Hovland, Jeff Ostermann.
"There will be a junior class meeting during first seminar in the auditorium Monday to discuss prom. We need everyone to be there. Thank you, Junior Class Officers and Class Sponsors."

This is a reminder from the Climate Culture Committee. Please turn in your Hispanic week plans to a committee member before or at our January 31 inservice.
All we need are your thoughts on a sheet of paper of what you would like to do in your classroom during Hispanic week April 2 through April 5.
