• HOMECOMING  2008…….  Friday activities:

Ψ       1:20 – 5th grade arrive at the gym gym

Ψ       1:22 – 3rd and 4th grades arrive at the gym

Ψ       1:24 – Kindergarten arrives at the gym

Ψ       1:25 – 1st and 2nd grades arrive at the gym

Ψ       1:35 – Pep Rally in HS Gym

Ψ       2:30 – Homecoming Parade

                  Organize on playground by grade

                  Mr. Hill will help organize each grade in the parade route

                  March to Timely Mission Nursing Home and sit on grass to watch parade

                  AFTER  THE  PARADE:  Grades K – 2 use 3rd Street back to the school

                                                      Grades 3 – 5 use 4th Street back to the school

Ψ       Punt, Pass, and Kick contest participants remain at the FB field following the parade

 

 

 

•  17 days left in the first quarter grading period

 

• ALL students will remain in the bleachers at the football game either sitting with parents or with friends.   Students will only be allowed out of the bleachers when going to the concession stand or the restroom.  Adults may be along the fence cheering but all K-8 students will be in the bleachers.

 

•  Respect and Responsibility -------------- How often do your students use the phases “PLEASE”  and  “THANK YOU?”

 

. • Homecoming is October 3.

•  Your webpages should now contain your daily schedule,  a link to your lesson plans, helpful links/hints for parents to use when working with their children.

. •  We are offering a pep bus to away games.   Students in middle school and high school are encouraged to sign up.

• October 8 the BC Fire Department will conduct their annual Fire Safety training for elementary students.

. •  Be sure your child abuse training is up to date.  If your certificate was 2005 or prior you will need to complete the on-line training within the next two weeks.

1.       Why is it that bullets ricochet off of Superman's chest, but he ducks when the gun is thrown at him?
