Board Goal:
It is the
goal of the North Iowa Community School District to collect, analyze, and use
data to strengthen the present curriculum resulting in increased student
learning, test performance, and overall achievement.
Math Achievement Goal:
Long Term Goal: All K-12 students will achieve at high levels in
mathematics, prepared for success beyond high school.

No School Monday, September 1 ---------------- What is the real purpose
of Labor Day? Visit with students about
the purpose of Labor Day and why our nation sets that day aside.
Lifetouch pictures for K-12 and
staff: Monday, September 8th starting at 8:30 a.m.
fliers were distributed at conferences. Please bring your flier with you
that day if you want to order pictures.
September 9 is school
board election day.
September 24 and 25 we will have
hearing screening for K-Prep, Kindergarten, First, Second, and Eighth grade
plus all new students to the district.
Both days will begin at 8:30.
North Iowa Conference Common In-service Day is
Wednesday, October 22. The planning
committee will meet on Monday, September 8 in the afternoon with other
committee members from across the conference.
The
recess posters in the hallway look great.

ZERO TOLERANCE on the playground for fighting, arguing,
teasing, or rough play.
The schedule is filling up for the use of the new
Elementary Tech Lab ------ that is so awesome.

We are offering a pep bus to away games. Students in middle school and high school
are encouraged to sign up.
Thank your for extra effort on good citizenship when students
are in the hallway. The conduct of
students in the hallways often carries over to the classroom. Thank you.
