● Wednesday, December 17 is our
elementary faculty meeting at 3:45 p.m. in the elementary media center. This is an open invitation to all elementary
faculty and all support staff members.
Join Becky and myself for some holiday treats.
●Christmas
break begins with at 1:30 / 1:50 dismissal on Friday, December 19. Classes will resume on Monday, January 5,
2009. Enjoy your holiday break.
● If a student is injured while under
your supervision be sure you complete the accident form on-line.
● PROCEDURES MUST BE PRACTICED. Harry Wong ------ Recess
rules need to be practiced. Lining up
when the whistle blows is a procedure.
Practice it ---- explain the purpose for the rule. Be consistent in how the rule is
enforced.
● Design Team Retreat will be Saturday, January 10 at the

● Bullying and Harassment ------ recess supervisors need to
be aggressive in the prevention of any type of bullying or unsportsmanlike
conduct ----- notes home to parents --- denial of recess activities ----
notification of the classroom teacher ---- we need to be proactive.
● December 19 is our final day with students before Christmas break. During the holiday break several small
projects will be undertaken around the buildings. Please call prior to coming
to your classroom to make sure you can get into your room.
