• Wonderful Christmas Concert last Tuesday.   Congrats to Mrs. Cook, Mrs. Kettwick, and Mr. Cook.  A special thank you to everyone who helped make the night such a success.

·         Support Staff Updates ------ December 11 at the middle school ---- December 12 at the elementary/high school------ 8:30 a.m.

•  If a student is injured while under your supervision be sure you complete the accident form on-line.

·         “PROCEDURES   MUST  BE  PRACTICED.”   Harry Wong ------ Recess rules need to be practiced.  Lining up when the whistle blows is a procedure.  Practice it ---- explain the purpose for the rule.  Be consistent in how the rule is enforced.

• FUNNY  BUMPER  STICKERS:

Ψ      "Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine."

Ψ      "Out of my mind. Back in five minutes."

Ψ      "As long as there are tests, there will be prayer in public schools"

Ψ      "Laugh alone and the world thinks you may have a problem."

Ψ      "Sometimes I wake up grumpy; Other times I let him sleep"

Ψ      "I didn't fight my way to the top of the food chain to be a vegetarian."

Ψ      "It's as BAD as you think, and they ARE out to get you."

Ψ      "When you do a good deed, get a receipt, in case heaven is like the IRS."

Ψ      "Wink, I'll do the rest!"

Ψ      "I took an IQ test and the results were negative."

• This is the final reminder regarding your  403B forms.  Be sure Cheryl has that info.  Take care of business.

•  Respect and Responsibility -------------- How often do your students use the phases “PLEASE”  and  “THANK YOU?”.

• Your webpage should be up and running.  Keep in mind no one is required to put personal information on their webpage if they are not comfortable sharing that information.   The purpose behind your webpage is to be another communications tool with parents (assignments, useful websites, spelling lists, upcoming events, etc.).

• Cold and Flu season is upon us.   Remind students to wash their hands frequently.  Get plenty of rest.

. •  Bullying and Harassment ------ recess supervisors need to be aggressive in the prevention of any type of bullying or unsportsmanlike conduct ----- notes home to parents --- denial of recess activities ---- notification of the classroom teacher ---- we need to be proactive.

·         December 19 is our final day with students before Christmas break ---- it is a 1:30/1:50 dismissal.
