GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
A) OUR EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
We believe the school
should actively develop a partnership involving parents and community. The purpose of the partnership is to help
insure the learner achieves success.
B) ANNUAL PROGRESS
GOALS
Science
Long Term Goal: All
K-12 students will achieve at high levels in science, prepared for success
beyond high school.
Annual Goal: The
percent of students in grades 6, 8 and 11 that score at the intermediate level
or higher will increase (ITBS, ITED) or the percent of students scoring
proficient (3 or higher) will increase from fall to spring on the district
science assessment (grades 5-8 and 10).

training will take place at the middle school.
We begin in the middle school media center at 1:45. At 3:00 the elementary staff remains in the
media center and we hold a faculty meeting.

teachers emotionally beat down certain students who eventually dropped out of
school. What possess some people to

F) The North Iowa Home Page is the gauge we use
to determine if we go outside for recess or not. IT the air temperature OR windchill is at or below
ZERO we will have indoor
recess. As long as the temperature is
above zero we will go outside.
Exceptions will be rain or wet snow.
G) Step up the
supervision and expectations on hallway behavior between Body Basics in the
hallways.

Theater Arts class will perform a play for students in grades K 2 at 10:25 on
December 15.
I) .It is your professional
responsibility to submit your TEAM or PERSONAL
professional growth plan goal.

December 21 and January 3 are staff development days. These are scheduled to be
full days.

December 20 is the last full day of school for students before Christmas break.
