Trivia
Question: What year was the first mobile phone call made? Answer below.
● Seasonal
influenza vaccinations
Hancock Co. Public
Health Nurses have a limited number of seasonal influenza vaccinations
available for school age children. This
vaccine is not the same as the H1N1 vaccine.
This seasonal vaccine is targeted for children
who do NOT have health insurance that would cover the cost of the vaccine. If your child is Medicaid eligible, Hawk-I
eligible or has no insurance, your child can receive this vaccination.
Please let me know as
soon as possible if you would like your child to receive this vaccine. I need to send home a consent form for you to
authorize your child to receive this vaccine at school. The date for the vaccination is Friday, Dec. 4th at 8:30 am
in my office.
Please contact Mrs.
Aukes by Dec. 01, 2009 at aukes@northiowa.org or leave a voice message at
562-2525 if you are interested in having your child receive a seasonal
influenza vaccine.

Trivia Question
Answer: Mobile phones have brought about a dramatic change to the
communication industry. The development of mobile phones has made
long-distance communication a matter of seconds. Who was the genius to
invent the first mobile phone and when was it invented? The mobile phone
was invented in 1973 by Dr. Martin Cooper, a Motorola employee. On April 3,
1973, the first cell phone call was made. The caller was naturally, Dr.
Cooper himself. The receiver of the first mobile phone call was Joel Angel,
the research head at AT&T’s Bell Labs and rival of Dr. Cooper.
