Respect and Responsibility
-------------- How often do your students use the phases PLEASE and THANK
YOU?.
Your webpage should be up and
running. Keep in mind no one is required
to put personal information on their webpage if they are not comfortable
sharing that information. The purpose
behind your webpage is to be another communications tool with parents
(assignments, useful websites, spelling lists, upcoming events, etc.).
Elementary Christmas Concert -----
Tuesday, December 2.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving break. Take a moment to reflect on the things you
are truly thankful for yet often take for granted on a day-to-day basis.
Cold and Flu season is upon us.
Remind students to wash their hands frequently. Get plenty of rest.
Wednesday is a Professional Development
day.
We begin the day with an optional social time at 7:15 ---- the
coffee pot will be on and juice will be available.
Our learning and working together will begin promptly at 7:30.
There will be a half hour noon break.
Our day will end around 1:30.
. Bullying and Harassment ------ recess
supervisors need to be aggressive in the prevention of any type of bullying or
unsportsmanlike
conduct ----- notes home to
parents --- denial of recess activities ---- notification of the classroom
teacher ---- we need to be proactive.

Beware of the shopping this weekend -------
will you be one of those awake at 3:00 a.m. and in line for that special gift
at bargain prices OR will you simply be along for the LUNCH?????

A lady was picking through the frozen turkeys at the
grocery store, but couldn't find one fresh enough for her family. She asked the
stock boy,
"Don't you have fresh turkeys?" The stock boy answered, "But
they are all dead. Now how can I make them take a bath?"
What did the mama turkey say to her naughty son?
If your papa could see you now, he'd turn over in his gravy!
Asked to write a composition entitled, "What I'm thankful for on
Thanksgiving,"
little Timothy wrote, "I am thankful that I'm not a turkey."
The pro football team had just finished their daily practice session when a
large turkey came strutting onto the field. While the players gazed in
amazement, the turkey walked up to the head coach and demanded a tryout.
Everyone stared in silence as the turkey caught pass after pass and ran right
through the defensive line. When the turkey returned to the sidelines, the
coach shouted, "You're terrific!!! Sign up for the season, and I'll see to
it that you get a huge bonus." "Forget the bonus," the turkey
said, "All I want to know is, does the season go past Thanksgiving
Day?"
