No school October 22 ----- North Iowa Conference Common Inservice Day ---- NIACC --- 9:00-3:00.   Eleanor Rodriquez is our keynote speaker.   She authored the book “What Is It About Me You Can Not Teach?.”  She will present in both the a.m. and the p.m.  Our day will run from 9:00 a.m. until 2:45.

● Parent-Teacher Conferences will be Tuesday, October 28 and Thursday, October 30.  We will accept nothing less than 100% participation from each family.  If they miss their appointment, be sure to call and schedule another meeting.  Parent involvement is vital to the success of children.

ALL students will remain in the bleachers at the football game either sitting with parents or with friends.   Students will only be allowed out of the bleachers when going to the concession stand,  the restroom or directly with their parents.  Adults may be along the fence cheering but all K-8 students will be in the bleachers.  THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE.

● Remember as a General Education teacher you are required to attend special education staffings and GEI brainstorming sessions

● No School Friday, October 31 ------ Teacher Comp Day

● Respect and Responsibility ------ How often do your students use the phases “PLEASE” and “THANK YOU?”

● Your webpages should now contain your daily schedule,  a link to your lesson plans, helpful links/hints for parents to use when working with their children.

● We are offering a pep bus to away games.   Students in middle school and high school are encouraged to sign up.

● Be sure your child abuse training is up to date.

● National Hot Lunch Week – October 12-18 – Thank the hot lunch staff!
