Parent Teacher Conferences will be held October 27 and 29 from 4-8 p.m.  Sign up slips will be sent home October 2 with the youngest child in the family.  Please return by October 15th.  Online sign up will again be available October 1 through October 15 on the homepage – www.northiowa.org. After the 15th the online sign up will be taken off line so any remaining conferences can be scheduled.  If your child sees a special education teacher or Title 1 teacher, please schedule a conference with her also.  Notices of scheduled conference times will be sent home on or before October 23.

Parents ~ Reading to your children or having your children read to you is the most important thing you can do to ensure their academic success.  If you are currently reading with them everyday … Congratulations to you!  If you have not been taking the time to read, please reconsider that choice and make time for your children.  Give them the gift of knowledge.

"You may have tangible wealth untold; Caskets of jewels and coffers of gold.
Richer than I you can never be--I had a Mother who read to me"
--Strickland Gillilan
