. E)  Next School Board meeting is February 12.  Prior to the meeting will be a presentation by Prairie Ridge Chemical Dependency Center.

 

F)  Remember every teacher is to have 5 reading and 5 technology strategies recorded on-line by Wed. Jan. 31st.

 

G)   “ALBORADA” assembly will be rescheduled.

 

H) “DINNER  WITH  DAD” was fantastic.   Great enthusiasm and appreciation was expressed by those who attended..

 

 I)  W O W !   I was very impressed with the huge amount of work we got done last week during our curriculum team meetings.   Those half days of intense work was well worth it.  Well done.

 

J)  Our next Elementary Faculty meeting is Tuesday, February 13.  We will meet in the Elem. Media Center at 3:40.  Tentatively the dates for our spring meetings will be March 13, March 28, April 10, May 1, and May 15.  Remember when you are presenting  with your group around the book study.

 

 K)  Early dismissal on Wednesday, January 31 for teacher staff development.

 

L) BOOK  STUDY  FORMAT:   10-15 minutes of team-led discussion regarding the chapter followed by an activity which challenges us to implement something learned in that portion of the book.   Each elementary faculty member will share their implementation.  

Every faculty member will take part in the book study.

Those taking the book study for credit will have extra things to complete.

N) Personal leave is dependent on the availability of  a substitute.  Plan ahead.

 

O)  Next teacher inservice is January 31 ----- there is a 1:10/1:30 dismissal that day.

 

P) Kindergarten Circus is less than one month away !!!!!

 

Q) During the last few days of January and early February contractors will be working on the stage gym to sheetrock the north wall.  This is a fire marshal requirement plus a safety issue.   The auditorium project  is drawing to an end.  It looks great but has been a huge undertaking.  We are fortunate to have access to such a facility.

 

R)  February 16 is a full day of school and a make-up day for November 10.
