need to keep in mind ---- they are acting their age --- it is our job to help
them mature into adults who will act their age and make developmentally
appropriate decisions. ”

G) “ALBORADA” assembly will be
rescheduled.

very impressed with the huge amount of work we got done last week during our
curriculum team meetings. Those half
days of intense work was well worth it.

J) Our next Elementary Faculty meeting is
Tuesday, February 13. We will meet in
the
K) Early
dismissal on Wednesday, January 31 for teacher staff development.
L) BOOK STUDY FORMAT: 10-15 minutes of team-led discussion regarding the chapter followed by an activity which challenges us to implement something learned in that portion of the book. Each elementary faculty member will share their implementation.
Every faculty member will take part in the book study.
Those
taking the book study for credit will have extra things to complete.

O) Next teacher inservice
is January 31 ----- there is a 1:10/1:30 dismissal that day.
P) Kindergarten Circus is less than one month away !!!!!
Q) During the last few days of January and
early February contractors will be working on the stage gym to sheetrock the
north wall. This is a fire marshal
requirement plus a safety issue. The
auditorium project is
drawing to an end. It looks great but
has been a huge undertaking. We are
fortunate to have access to such a facility.
R) February 16 is a full day of school and a
make-up day for November 10.
S) No School on
President’s Day ---- Monday, February 19.
