I)  If you buy noon lunch here at the school there will be a special ice cream treat provided for all K-12 students and employees compliments of Mr. and  Mrs. Hill.   Thank you to the cooks in both buildings for helping distribute the treats. No it is not part of the food pyramid but perhaps it should be !!!!!

J)  If you are going to use a special room for a meeting or an event please complete the “Facilities Request Form” under “Staff Links” on the homepage.

K)  When there is an issue you are concerned about there are channels to make that issue known. There is a set “chain of command” and also common courtesy.   The number one step in conflict resolution training is to speak directly to the person with whom you have the conflict.  We teach that to our students and children.   If it can not be resolved you visit with that person again.  If it is still not resolved you take it to the direct supervisor and the next step is the Superintendent.   Keep in mind that if you don’t get the answer you first desired it may be because of several different circumstances.  If the conversation is never held you will never know the reasoning behind the decision.  Let’s model what we expect our students to be able to do.

L) Midterm us upon us.

M) Would you like to be part of designing the electronic grade book?  We want it to link to mastery of skills and knowledge.  How can we make the connection with our standards and benchmarks?  What will it look like on-line and what will it look like printed out?

N) Fuel prices and huge jumps in heating fuels are beginning to place a strain on the district budget.
