We must help students
develop a positive self-concept, understand themselves, have confidence in
their abilities, and accept responsibility for their own education and personal
development.

Long Term Goal:
Annual Goal: The
percent of students responding 3 or higher on question 6 of the Building
Tomorrow Survey will increase.
C) A.M. recess is 15 minutes long. K-2 goes form 9:40 – 9:55 ---- no longer ---
no shorter. Grades 3 – 4 recess is
from 10:05 – 10:20.

BASICS in the hallway. Orderly lines and quiet voices. If it takes a few times of practice to
master that expectation feel free to repeat the lesson over and over again.

Each teacher will bring their teacher portfolio and share with at least
two other teachers what evidence you have collected and how you interpret
the teacher standards and the mandated criteria.

M) We are working on a master electronic calendar for all events and room reservations made by internal and external groups. This will include the ICN, multi-purpose room, Commons, media centers, old cafeteria, and auditorium. This would give you immediate access to availability of facilities when you are planning activities or events.
N) Personal leave is dependent on the
availability of a substitute. Plan ahead.

P) ‘Cyber Citizens
of the World Wide Web” is a play sponsored by
the Iowa Department of Education. The
play is geared toward grades 3 – 6. The
play will be webcast to our school on October 4, from
10:30-11:30. Our 3rd and 4th
grade will take part. The focus of the webcast play is to drive home the importance of InterNet safety.
This has been a thrust of our district presentation team in recent
months.
