A) BOARD GOALS

Math
Long Term Goal: All K-12 students
will achieve at high levels in mathematics, prepared for success beyond high
school.
Annual Goal: The percent of students
scoring proficient (70%) on the district Computation Test (grades 2-8) and the
district Algebra Test (grade 10) will increase using two-year averaging.
C) Paras please give the offices copies of your schedule as
soon as it is set.
D) Hearing screening for Gr. K-prep and K will be 10-04-05 around 9:30 9:30 am. Gr. 1 and 2 date is changed
from 3-28 to 3-21-06 around 9 am.
mark your calenders for those dates and times. Only
new kids that have moved in from outside AEA 267 in gr. 3 and 4 will be
screened.
E)Marlys Ebaugh,
audiologist, will be at BC on Sept. 13 in the am and at
Thompson around noon to do followup on students with known hearing
problems. IF you have a student you are concerned about their hearing and
would like to test them, please let me know by 9-5-05. That will allow me
time to get parental permission for the testing. Please mark your
calender for this date.
F) Remember that all
items must be removed from the refrigerator in the teachers lounge on Fridays,
as anything left in their except for butter, catsup, mustard, or relish, will
be thrown out on weekends.
G) If you wish to
change your report cards for next year, please be working on this as report
cards will be order around mid September.


H) K-Prep through grade 2 behavior management training with Keva Hale
on September 13 and 28. Plan to attend
both meetings. The training will take
place in the elementary media center and run from 3:40 – 5:00.

curriculum? Check the timelines.

M) WEB IEP
training for the Special Education staff is in the ICN room from 8:00 –
10:30 on September 12.
N) Homecoming 2005 is
September 23.
O) I have lists done with address, phone #,
etc of each elementary class. If you
want one of all or certain elementary classes and did not get them in either
your run off or mail box, let Rena know and she will run you a copy.
