√ Teacher Inservice ---- at the middle school --- 8:00 – 12:00

√ Elem. staff works in their room in the p.m.

 

Tuesday:

√ FIRST  DAY  OF  SCHOOL  FOR  HIGH  SCHOOL  STUDENTS

√ Elem. and MS conferences with parents --- 3:00 – 8:00

 

Wednesday:

√ Elem. and MS conferences continue ---- 12:00 – 5:00

√ Family / Church Night ---- no school activities in the building after 6:00 p.m.

 

Thursday: (Day 1)

 √ FIRST  DAY  OF  SCHOOL  FOR  ELEMENTARY / MIDDLE SCHOOL

 

Friday: (Day 2)

ADDITIONAL  ITEMS:

 

•  Welcome Back. It is exciting to see everyone return to the school routine.

 

•  Celebrate all the wonderful changes around our buildings and grounds.  Thank the custodians for all they have done to make our environment so pleasant and accommodating.

 

• HAVE  STUDENTS  CREATE  PLAYGROUND POSTERS.  THESE ARE TO SHOW    “WHAT  WOULD YOU  SEE  OR  HEAR  AT  A  GOOD  RECESS?”

 

•  We expect GOOD CITIZENSHIP  everywhere and in all situations.    We are united as a team.

 

• Be sure to pull out your curriculum writing materials from this summer.   Who is suppose to communicate with the rest of the staff about our FINANCE  curriculum?    Check the timelines.

 

• Post your grades, expectations, and classroom rules.

 

•  We will have 100% participation in our Before School Conferences with parents. If they do not come to us ----- call them and have a conversation about the same items we discussed at conferences.

 

• We will be saving Campbell Soup labels, Box Tops & Milk Caps again this year.  The bins for them will be in the mailroom this year.
