Math
Long Term Goal: AllK-12
students will achieve at high levels in mathematics, prepared for success beyond high school.
Annual Goal: The
percent of students scoring proficient (70%) on the district Computation Test
(grades 2-8) and the district Algebra Test (grade 10) will increase using
two-year averaging.

who pull against the team and for some reason enjoy it. ”

H) June 13 is our summer inservice
day. We are very fortunate to have Cathy
Angel presenting. Ms. Geitzenauer has
worked very hard to make this day reality and we owe her a hearty thank
you. She is also ordering the materials
for the day. We will be able to use
those throughout the year next year.

L) Our 8th grade students are in Washington, D. C. this week. Keep them in your thoughts.
M) The
planning group will begin to put together the activity calendar for 2007-2008
with our final meeting April 18. What
can we do as an elementary to build some fun into our schedule ------ can we
plan a special day in mid-winter or perhaps a special week focused on a given topic? Please discuss the thought and share your
ideas.
N) Our next Elementary Faculty meeting is
Tuesday, April 10.
We will meet in the
Tentatively the dates for our spring meetings
will be May 1, and May 15.
Remember when you
are presenting with
your group around the book study.
O) BOOK STUDY FORMAT: 10-15 minutes of team-led discussion regarding the chapter followed by an activity which challenges us to implement something learned in that portion of the book. Each elementary faculty member will share their implementation.
Every faculty member will take part in the book study.
Those
taking the book study for credit will have extra things to complete.
P) Personal
leave is dependent on the availability of a substitute. Plan ahead.
Spring
is a difficult time to find available substitute teachers. Please take this into consideration.
