A) BOARD GOALS

It is the goal of the North Iowa Community School District to provide learners with the safest, inviting, structurally sound, and educationally rich learning environment possible within the limits of the district’s financial standing.

 

B) ANNUAL PROGRESS GOALS

Culture Climate for Learning

Long Term Goal: North Iowa students will treat each other respectfully.

Annual Goal: The percent of students responding 3 or higher on question 6 of the Building Tomorrow Survey will increase.

 

C) Thursday, February 16 was a snow day.   The make-up day is Thursday, April 13.  Mark your calendar.

 

D) MAKE-UP  ELEMENTARY FACULTY MEETING --- Tuesday, March 21 ---- We will try this one more time --- TOPIC:  Math benchmarks --- What criteria will you use to measure student proficiency?

 

E) March 23 we will host a Math Make-and-Take for parents of students in preschool through grade 4 ----- 6:00-8:00 ---- Commons.

 

 F) The students and staff involved in the musical have worked very hard on the “THE MUSIC MAN.”    Please consider supporting them in their efforts.

 

G) “Please”  and  “Thank You”  are still important to stress in the hallways, your classroom, and even on the playground.
