A) BROAD PROGRAM GOALS
We must produce
students who can adapt to change, respect others, and work cooperatively to
become contributing members of society.

B) ANNUAL PROGRESS
GOALS
Science
Long Term Goal: All
K-12 students will achieve at high levels in science, prepared for success
beyond high school.
Annual Goal: The
percent of students in grades 6, 8 and 11 that score at the intermediate level
or higher will increase (ITBS, ITED) or the percent of students scoring
proficient (3 or higher) will increase from fall to spring on this district
science assessment (grades 5-8 and 10.
C)
Elementary PE classes will be in the multi-purpose room beginning Feb. 20
through Mar. 2. Students SHOULD wear gym shoes. K-prep will meet in the gym or
outside as usual.
D) “A smile warms the heart of all you come in
contact with. ”
E) The auditorium project is 99% done. The new curtains have a special backing so
using pins to hang things from the curtains must be avoided.
F) No School Monday, February 19. Presidents Day.
G) I imagine everyone is
anticipating the upcoming Lutefisk dinner at Rake on Saturday night. IT is an amazing social event and people
from all over visit. our little Rake.
The whole community plays a role in this successful tradition.

N) BOOK STUDY FORMAT: 10-15 minutes of team-led discussion regarding the chapter followed by an activity which challenges us to implement something learned in that portion of the book. Each elementary faculty member will share their implementation.
Every faculty member will take part in the book study.
Those
taking the book study for credit will have extra things to complete.
