Annual Achievement goal: The percent of students in
grades 6, 8 and 11 that score at the intermediate level or high on ITBS or ITED
tests will increase or the percent of students scoring proficient (3 or higher)
will increase from fall to spring on the District Science Test (grades 5
through 8 and 10).
• Iowa Test of Basic Skills testing was a
success last week ----- SPECIAL thank
you to the kitchen staff for the nutricious snacks during our testing time.
• LAST ROUND
OF BULLYING TRAINING
for ALL employees will be Wednesday, February 25 at
the middle school at 7:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m., and 4:00 p.m. and will be held in
the ICN room. The training at the
Elementary/High School will be on Thursday, February 26 at 7:30 a.m., 8:30
a.m., and 4:00 p.m. and will also be held in the ICN room.

BE PRACTICED.” Harry Wong
------ Recess rules need to be practiced.
Lining up when the whistle blows is a procedure. Practice it ---- explain the purpose for the
rule. Be consistent in how the rule is
enforced. Now that we have returned from Christmas it is
especially important to review procedures and practice them over and over
again.

February 18.

Pep Band Concert ----- Thursday, February 26.
• We will host the North Iowa Ministerial
Association here for lunch and their regular meeting on Tuesday, February 24.

• Cold and Flu season is upon us. Remind students to wash their hands
frequently. Get plenty of rest.

through some maditory training on February 18 and February 20 in the early p.m.

students during the second semester as they complete their clinical
experience. They are future teachers and
we want them to feel part of our school and welcome. They come here to learn from the best
