A) BROAD PROGRAM GOALS
We must help students
develop a positive self-concept, understand themselves, have confidence in
their abilities, and accept responsibility for their own education and personal
development.

B) ANNUAL PROGRESS
GOALS
Math
Long Term Goal: All
K-12 students will achieve at high levels in mathematics, prepared for success
beyond high school.
Annual Goal: The
percent of students scoring proficient (70%) on the district Computation Test
(grades 2-8) and the district Algebra Test (grade 10) will increase using
two-year averaging..
C)
On Mon., Feb. 12, Marlys Ebaugh,
audiologist will be at my BC office around 9:45 am to do hearing follow up for
preschool throughgrade 12. She will call
students out of class as needed. She will arrive at Thompson later in the
morning/noon to do checks in the ICN room.
Please
let me know if you have a student you would like to refer for a hearing
evaluation.

E) The auditorium project is done ----- Monday’s assembly will
be the first event in there since the stage area was painted.
F) February 16 is a full day of school and a
make-up day for November 10.

I) Remember every teacher was to have 5 reading and 5 technology strategies recorded on-line by Wed. Jan. 31st. Are you on schedule?

L) Thank
you to all who helped the “Coins From Compassionate
Kids” effort be so successful. Just another way to teach character, service, and model empathy.
M) Our next Elementary Faculty meeting is

your group around the book study.
N) BOOK STUDY FORMAT: 10-15 minutes of team-led discussion regarding the chapter followed by an activity which challenges us to implement something learned in that portion of the book. Each elementary faculty member will share their implementation.
Every faculty member will take part in the book study.
Those
taking the book study for credit will have extra things to complete.
