“PROCEDURES MUST
BE PRACTICED.” Harry Wong
------ Recess rules need to be practiced.
Lining up when the whistle blows is a procedure. Practice it ---- explain the purpose for the
rule. Be consistent in how the rule is
enforced. Now that we have returned from Christmas it is
especially important to review procedures and practice them over and over
again.
• Next elementary faculty meeting is Wednesday,

• Respect and Responsibility -------------- How
often do your students use the phases “PLEASE”
and “THANK YOU?”.
• Cold and Flu season is upon us. Remind students to wash their hands
frequently. Get plenty of rest.
. • Bullying and Harassment ------ recess supervisors need to be aggressive in the prevention of any type of bullying or unsportsmanlike conduct ----- notes home to parents --- denial of recess activities ---- notification of the classroom teacher ---- we need to be proactive.
