A) OUR EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
*We believe the school

GOALS
Science
Long Term Goal: All
K-12 students will achieve at high levels in science, prepared for success
beyond high school.
Annual Goal: The
percent of students in grades 6, 8 and 11 that score at the intermediate level
or higher will increase (ITBS, ITED) or the percent of students scoring proficeient (3 or higher) will increase from fall to spring
on the district science assessment (grades 5-8 and 10).

tell a child to ‘act his/her age’ we need to keep in mind ---- they are acting
their age --- it is our job to help them mature into adults who will act their
age and make developmentally appropriate decisions. ”

F) Outstanding Design Team meeting last Saturday.
G) “ALBORADA” assembly was
postponed last week due to issues regarding their Visa to be in the
country. It is our hope we will be
able to reschedule them for a later date.
H) “DINNER WITH DAD” was fantastic. Great enthusiasm and appreciation was expressed by those who attended..
I) Our next
Elementary Faculty meeting is Tuesday, February 13. We will meet in the
J) BOOK STUDY FORMAT: 10-15 minutes of team-led discussion regarding the chapter followed by an activity which challenges us to implement something learned in that portion of the book. Each elementary faculty member will share their implementation.

teacher inservice is January 31 ----- there is a
1:10/1:30 dismissal that day.
O) Kindergarten Circus is less than one month
away !!!!!
P)During the last few days of January and
early February contractors will be working on the stage gym to sheetrock the
north wall. This is a fire marshal
requirement plus a safety issue. The
auditorium project
is drawing to an end. It looks great but has been a huge
undertaking. We are fortunate to have
access to such a facility.
