Annual Goal: The
percent of students responding 3 or higher on question 6 of the Building
Tomorrow Survey will increase.
C) January 16 is Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Day. What can each person do in their
classroom to honor that day and the efforts Dr. King stood for regarding
equality, social justice, and non-violent protest? I will forward to you a copy of Dr. King’s “I
Have A Dream” speech ---- do with it as you see fit.
D) KENGMO
Assembly will take place Monday,
January 23. The assembly will be in the
north gym and will begin promptly at 10:00.
We will be utilizing seating similar to what we do for Homecoming.
E) What can we do to help our students have a greater
understanding of the KENGMO assembly?
What can we do prior to the event and what can we do as follow-up on
several dates after the event?

Q) 2nd annual Freethrow Contest Sunday, January 22 at the NIHS north
gym. Walk-in
registration at 1 pm with the shootout to begin at 1:30. Nine age divisions for both boys and girls,
beginning with age 7 and under and up to age 15 and over, will be competing for
first place medals and ribbons for second and third place finishers.
